Hey there! I’m Ingus, the founder of Meet The Road.
A while back, my wife, our three kids, and I packed our lives into backpacks and traveled non-stop for 13 months.
We explored 13 countries, stayed in 78 different places, and caught 31 flights. Along the way, we met incredible people – real travellers, not just tourists – chasing unforgettable adventures just like us.
One thing became crystal clear: great trips don’t happen by accident – they’re planned smartly.
Even though we used hundreds of websites, surprises still hit us – like the time we had to sprint through Vientiane airport in Laos to get last-minute visas for Vietnam, just two hours before takeoff. (Not our finest travel moment!)
When we finally came home to beautiful Latvia, I decided to build something better: Meet The Road.

Getting started is easy:

- Know when and where you want to go? Awesome – just tell us!
- Still figuring it out? No stress – ask for ideas. We’ll throw in some gems.
Your assistant will ask a few quick questions to customise your itinerary, flights, hotels, tours, and more – just for you.

You’ll get personalized suggestions for flights, places to stay, must-do activities, and a full-on itinerary that matches you (and your crew).
Want to skip the tourist crowds?
Just ask for a route packed with hidden gems instead of the usual highlights. We’ll hook you up with places you won’t find on basic travel blogs.
You’ll also get handy tips like visa rules, currency rates, and tipping habits – the stuff you’ll wish you knew before landing.
Heads up:
You’re not locked into booking exactly what we suggest. Meet The Road is trained to recommend awesome options, but if you spot a better deal on the sites we suggested, go for it.
